Zoe Demery, Megan Richardson, and Keely Needham are experienced Clinical Animal Behaviourists who genuinely enjoy supporting others in their professional development. They are happy to provide mentoring or supervision to individuals studying or working in clinical animal behaviour, whether you are progressing through the CCAB route as a FAB Clinicians candidate member, a provisional APBC member, an associate certified IAABC member, a vet or RVN in general practice, or someone simply looking for clearer guidance and reassurance.

You may be working with your first complex cases, preparing for assessments, or considering adding a behaviour clinic to your veterinary practice. Meet Our Mentors

Meet Second Nature's team, who provide mentoring in clinical animal behaviour.

Zoe is a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) in dogs, cats and parrots, independently accredited by CCAB Certification (formally the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour Accreditation Committee). She is proud to be a Certificated Member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians, a registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council and a Certified Animal Behaviour Consultant (in parrots, cats and dogs) with the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants.

Zoe has completed extensive supervision training. She is a registered supervisor and Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society. Zoe has also been trained ‘on the animal side’ of supervision with Loftus & Wild Behaviourist Mentoring & Supervision.

Megan graduated from Harper Adams University with a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, then grew her clinical behaviour practice with dogs and cats.  She has many years of experience and is an independently accredited Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB in dogs and cats).

Megan is an active member of various organisations, including FAB Clinicians, APBC and PACT.  Last but not least Megan is registered as a CAB and ATI with the ABTC.  Megan is passionate about mentoring and growing the next generation of clinical animal behaviourist!

Keely graduated from Harper Adams University in 2021 with a first class honours degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour and Welfare. She is a Certificated Member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians, and works part-time as a behaviourist and mentor for a large animal welfare organisation. Keely has independent CCAB accreditation in dogs.  She gives talks on career development and loves supporting others find their CAB niche!
